Hi lovelies,
I have some super-sad news to share with you all.
Taken from Parcel2Go.com:
"From August 29th 2025, all parcels sent to the United States will be subject to duties and taxes, regardless of their value. This follows a new Executive Order signed by President Trump on July 30th, 2025, which removes the long-standing de minimis exemption for shipments valued under $800."
This means, in the short term at least (but possibly long term or even forever), I am going to have to switch off the option for postage to the USA on my direct paperback/hardback store. I have no idea what these fees and tariffs are going to be yet, or if they'll even be affordable for people, plus how much admin would be involved for me. I certainly can't afford to swallow any costs - I wish I could.
To make this situation a tiny bit less crappy, I'm offering a 10% discount on orders of over £9 placed through my store between now and 23:59 on the 21st August. This means I'd be looking to get any parcels in the post/mail on the 22nd and hopefully get to the USA well before those fees kick in. Added bonus: the discount code works for people ordering from other countries, too, so anyone looking to order signed books is onto a winner! Simply use the code SADTIMES at checkout to get your discount.

I hope you guys understand why I've had to do this.
Happy Reading!
